Certainly people like myself who were old enough to be there, but too young to partake, absorbed the sentiment without the narcotics.

		<description>Gosh, I dunno, but it seems to me that the &quot;make love, not war&quot; movement was fueled by weed and hallucinogenics, which is, perhaps, what made the hippies kinder and gentler.....  They were too stoned to go to war, or work, for that matter.  

(Not that I&#039;m against that sort of thing, mind you.  I killed a few brain cells myself in my youth.)</description>
